Recycling. The paths are partly made from old railway sleepers
donated by the rail company. The bricks to build the raised beds were over-fired rejects. The planters are
used tyres. Even the Braille information plaques have been printed on used x-ray film. All of these materials
have been re-used to create a durable and pleasant garden, instead of being discarded as waste. |

you’ll find velvety leaves like those of African violet, rough and smooth leaves, lacy, fern-like species
such as Asparagus fern and succulent, fleshy-leaved plants. |
