Shady Seat. Here the paths converge. The fruit tree is called
Sapoti and around its trunk is a bench where you can rest in its shade. With the raised 'Touch' bed on your
right, the tree is to your left hand side. The Braille Trail continues from here. |

Medicinal Bed. Here the second circular path begins, and the first
raised bed to the right contains medicinal herbs. All of these plants have been used to treat different
ailments through the ages. Some examples are: sage, with velvety leaves and a bitter taste, whose astringent
effect has been used against respiratory and gynaecological complaints; and camomile: a calming herb, used for skin and nervous disorders. |
